In addition to Halo: MCC, 343 has a separate team working on Halo Infinite for release later this year as a launch title for Xbox Series X. On a longer timeline, 343 said it is looking into bringing PC features like FOV sliders to console later in development, but it’s not promising this will ever be delivered.

Things like double key binds and account linking for Steam are in development, while 343 is looking at text chat improvements and more mod support to introduce later. The studio also identified new features that are in active development, some that are in the design phase, and others that are in a “backlog” and may be addressed at a later date.

Additionally, the studio has acknowledged issues with the pistol spread for Halo: Combat Evolved multiplayer when playing at higher frame rates on PC. On Xbox, 343 acknowledged that it’s aware of “performance issues” for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3, and it’s working toward a fix. The list of known issues for Halo: MCC covers both Xbox One and PC. “The scope and implications of these issues vary greatly so while some may see good movement in a given month, others may not,” 343 explained in a blog post. The studio is working to fix these issues, but the developer also cautioned that it’s currently prioritizing the launch of Halo 3 on PC ahead of fixing these lingering issues.
